About the role
Ivory Pulse is developing a new
smart bracelet
product and we are looking for an
Embedded Electronics Engineer
to support the early hardware development stage.
We need someone who can help define the electronic architecture, choose suitable components and prepare the initial technical documentation needed before moving into detailed PCB and product design.
Responsibilities

Define the initial embedded electronics architecture

Recommend suitable components for a compact smart wearable device

Prepare an initial BOM with component references, dimensions and alternatives

Estimate PCB size, component height and internal space requirements

Support decisions related to battery, charging, power management and wireless communication

Identify technical constraints that may affect the product design

Communicate clearly with the product, PCB and mechanical design teams
Requirements
-
Experience with embedded electronics or hardware design

Understanding of PCB design constraints for compact devices

Experience with battery-powered / low-power systems

Ability to select real, available components based on size, power, reliability and cost

Familiarity with microcontrollers, wireless communication and power management

Good communication and practical problem-solving skills
Collaboration
This can start as a paid freelance or contract-based collaboration for the prototype stage, with the possibility of continuing into future development phases.
We are looking for someone practical, detail-oriented and realistic, who can help us move from concept to a feasible electronic architecture.
