Role Description
The Embedded Design Engineer will work full time on-site in the Greater Chennai Area, contributing to the design and development of embedded systems for industrial robots and automation products. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing electronic circuits, defining hardware architectures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and embedded software. The role involves developing, testing, and optimizing embedded software and firmware, as well as diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues through systematic debugging. The engineer will participate in design documentation, support prototyping and validation, and help ensure that solutions meet performance, reliability, safety, and cost targets. Collaboration with mechanical, software, and product teams is expected to deliver robust solutions that align with client and project requirements.
Qualifications

Circuit Design and Hardware Architecture skills for embedded and robotic systems.

Embedded Software and Software Development skills for firmware and real-time applications.

Strong Debugging skills for hardware-software integration and system-level issue resolution.

Proficiency with microcontrollers, embedded development tools, and communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).

Experience with C/C++ or similar languages for embedded platforms; familiarity with RTOS is an advantage.

Understanding of electronics fundamentals, safety standards, and reliability considerations in industrial environments.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.

Ability to work on-site in the Greater Chennai Area, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and manage tasks independently.
