Role Description

This is a remote contract position for an experienced Embedded Audio DSP Engineer.

You will play a key role in developing and integrating advanced acoustic sensing technologies on mobile and embedded platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with smartphone audio architectures and understands both the analog and digital aspects of audio acquisition and processing.

You will work closely with our DSP, hardware, and systems teams to develop, optimize, and validate novel sensing techniques that push beyond the capabilities of conventional microphone systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded audio development.
• Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and real-time signal processing systems.
• Hands-on experience with mobile phone audio architectures and embedded audio pipelines.
• Experience developing on Qualcomm Snapdragon, MediaTek, Samsung Exynos, or similar mobile SoCs.
• Strong understanding of both analog audio front-end design and digital audio processing architectures
• Experience working with: MEMS microphones, Audio codecs, ADC/DAC architectures, Audio drivers and firmware
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience debugging complex hardware/software interactions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
