Job Role: Embedded Camera Driver Development Engineer
Experience: 8-12 Years

Key Responsibilities
-
Design, develop, and maintain
embedded camera drivers
for automotive ECU platforms.

Develop camera software on
Qualcomm SoC
or similar automotive SoC platforms.

Implement and optimize camera frameworks for
Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), Rear View Camera (RVC), Surround View Systems (SVS), and ADAS
applications.

Develop and integrate software for camera subsystems, including
camera sensors, Image Signal Processor (ISP), serializers, deserializers, and image pipelines
.

Collaborate with hardware, system, and validation teams to support camera bring-up, ECU integration, and software validation.

Perform software debugging, performance optimization, and root cause analysis for camera and imaging issues.

Translate system requirements into software designs using
DOORS, DNG
, or similar requirements management tools.

Develop and review software architecture using
IBM Rhapsody
,
Enterprise Architect (EA)
, or equivalent modeling tools.
Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in
Automotive Embedded Software Development
.

5+ years of hands-on experience in
Camera Driver Development
for automotive applications.

Strong experience with
Qualcomm SoC
or similar automotive camera platforms.

Deep understanding of
Camera Frameworks
,
Image Signal Processor (ISP)
, camera sensors, serializers, deserializers, and image processing pipelines.

Strong programming skills in
Embedded C and Modern C++
.

Experience working in
multi-threaded
and
multi-process
embedded software environments.

Hands-on experience with software requirements management tools such as
DOORS

DNG
, or equivalent.

Experience using software architecture and modeling tools such as
IBM Rhapsody
