Job Description

Company Description Blockvolt Limited focuses on incentivizing green energy adoption and making clean energy solutions viable for millions of users. The company works at the intersection of energy technology and data to support smarter, more sustainable electricity usage. By building innovative platforms and tools, Blockvolt helps individuals, businesses, and institutions transition to cleaner power sources. Team members have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that directly support environmental sustainability and scalable clean energy adoption.

Role Description This is an internship role focused on Electrical Metering, IoT-embedded systems, and government application automation using AI. The position is hybrid, based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the design and testing of smart metering solutions, developing and integrating IoT firmware and hardware components, and supporting AI-driven automation workflows for government and utility applications. The intern will help collect and analyze device and usage data, document technical processes, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and participate in troubleshooting and optimization of prototype systems. The role also involves preparing reports, presentations, and technical documentation to support pilots, deployments, and stakeholder communication. We are building the nervous system of india's Carbon & Renewable Energy Market, and we need someone to wire it up in Hyderabad location.

This is a 3-month field + firmware intern โ€” renewable & electrical engineering.
