Electronics Engineer

Position Summary

Liaise with the supplier’s electrical engineering team, and manage electrical component applications for Electrical Appliance Products.

This position will be based in Dong Nai Factory. Shuttle bus from District 1, 9, Thu Duc/Bien Hoa-Dong Nai is available. (only 1.5hours to travel to by using highway)

Key Responsibilities

❑ Liaise with the supplier’s Electrical Engineering Department and support the Project Engineer in the development of electronic assemblies and components applied to Electrical Appliance Products.

❑ Engineering Design of Electronics systems including: Printed Circuit Boards schematics, micro-processor programs, motors, electrical systems components.

❑ Manage multiple projects from different OEMs and follow-up from project kick-off to MP.

❑ Write and transform the Product Requirements to E&E engineering requirements which should be downloadable to the Product and Components Suppliers.

❑ Coordinate with Suppliers to qualify new electrical and electronic components.

❑ Coordinate with other Departments for electronics development.

❑ Trouble shooting during product development cycle.

❑ Check and manage Engineering documents required for electronic component systems development.

❑ Participate in communication with outside clients on status of project issues.

❑ Familiar with the design of full electrical systems and circuits that drive motors, which are a key electrical component.

❑ Knowledge of motor manufacturing and design is preferable.

Person Specifications

❑ Electrical or Electronics Engineering bachelor degree or above from an accredited University.

❑ At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in Electronics Engineering field.

❑ Good level of English writing, reading and speaking is essential.

❑ Able to work under pressure.

❑ Good technical knowledge in Electronic and Electrical field.

❑ Good problem solving and failure analysis skills.

❑ Understanding of Vacuum Cleaner is an advantage.

❑ CAD for E&E circuit and system: For example; Protel, Pads PowerPCB.

❑ Computer aided design skill: For example; OrCad, Python, Matlab, Simulink

❑ Familiar with UL/VDE/TUV/GS/CE safety standards and EMC testing requirements

❑ Components and Materials knowledge

❑ Quality & Production knowledge – SPC, CPK evaluation, MSA

❑ Experience in vacuum cleaner circuit design, brushless motor control circuit design or battery pack charge, discharge management circuit design & EMI suppressing circuit is preferred
