As part of VAVE engineering team in Zhuhai China, the primary role of this position is to improve reliability and reduce costs of Videojet products by working with global R&D teams and procurement teams.
Work on projects mainly involving VAVE on existing products. Some sustaining projects are also expected.
Responsible for embedded system hardware design changes -- component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototype debug, test, verification, pilot-run.
Take technical ownership of the electronic area; work across various function teams, such as Sourcing, Quality, Service, Tech support, suppliers, and Operations to ensure the successful implementation of design changes.
Develop and implement technical solutions to improve reliability and reduce costs of Videojet products, and meantime quality and customer needs are not impacted.
Create Test Plans to validate design solutions using lab testing, analysis, and simulation tools. 基本功能:

CET-4 or above, demonstrate an ability to express technical matters adequately in English, both orally and in writing.
Bachelor degree (Master is a plus) in electronic engineering or related disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years in a relevant job as a design and/or sustaining electronics engineer in micro-processor-based architecture (i.e. MCU, ARM, DSP, PowerPC etc.) for industrial control products.
Strong knowledge of digital and analogue electronics design techniques and methods.
Track record of successfully designing and delivering embedded industrial control system products
Strong knowledge and hands-on schematic experience using at least one of the EDA design tools (i.e. OrCAD/Allegro, Altium Designer, etc.).
Must have EMI/EMC and regulatory compliance experience.
PCB layout experience is a plus.
Good understanding of quality and reliability standards and how they apply to electronic designs, including the importance of designing for manufacture and testability. 教育、背景和技能要求:
