Job Description

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and electronics industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting vehicle testing and electronics development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive communication skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $60-$65/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Collaborate directly with electrical engineers to build, bring up, and rework vehicle components and PCB assemblies.
  • Assemble and modify multi-layer electronic circuit boards for automotive applications.
  • Build, modify, and repair automotive-grade wire harnesses using industry-standard connectors.
  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels, test hardware on industrial rack systems and test benches.
  • Maintain, expand, and improve the electronics lab, including overseeing tools, parts, and equipment management.

What's Needed?

  • Hands-on experience with electronic product assembly, with at least 2+ years of work experience.
  • Proficiency in prototype work and functional verification of electronics, with some mechanical knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with basic lab equipment such as DMM, power supplies, and electronic loads.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and BOMs accurately.
  • Exceptional soldering and rework skills, with experience working under a microscope.
