Job Description

Electronics Engineer Overview

The Electronic Engineer will support production, testing, and engineering activities related to electronic assemblies used in military and commercial aerospace applications. This role involves troubleshooting production issues, supporting manufacturing operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for aerospace electronics products.


Electronics Engineer Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and resolve issues for aerospace electronic products
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and laboratory testing
  • Investigate non-conforming products and prepare MRB/disposition documentation
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers during the production process
  • Analyze troubleshooting trends and first-pass yield data to support product improvements
  • Support continuous improvement and maintain safe work practices
  • Assist with additional engineering and production activities as needed
  • Occasionally work evenings/weekends and travel domestically or internationally (<5%)


Electronics Engineer Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in electronics design, manufacturing, or assembly within a regulated industry
  • Experience with troubleshooting manufacturing and assembly defects
  • Familiarity with MRB processing and non-conforming product investigations
  • Experience using electrical lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and function generators
  • Experience with Cadence Schematic/Allegro Layout or similar CAD software
  • Understanding of measuring equipment, drawing interpretation, and GD&T
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in an electronics production environment or with electrical assemblies is preferred
