At Aquablu, we’re looking for an Embedded & Electrical Engineer to join our Tech team and contribute to building the future of water systems. If you’re curious, motivated, and love working across different aspects of electrical systems, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the creation of new electrical systems and PCBs to support product innovation and reliability.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformities in the field, ensuring smooth, reliable operations and addressing critical gaps in expertise and capacity.
• Contribute to firmware development in C/C++, playing a key role in bringing our products to life and supporting other team members during downtime or as needed.
• Review and validate changes in components to maintain high standards of quality and performance.
• Step into a versatile role, taking ownership of electrical and embedded challenges while collaborating with (external) support when necessary.
• Ensure that our systems remain innovative, scalable, and reliable.

About You

You’re an all-rounder with a passion for embedded systems, confident working hands-on from schematic to firmware and energized by real-world product challenges.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a hands-on product development environment.
• Skilled in designing PCBs and developing firmware in C/C++.
• Excited to work across various aspects of electrical systems and dive into challenges.
• Relevant technical degree in Electrical, Embedded or other related fields.
• Able to work on-site in Amsterdam and collaborate closely with the team.
• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands without requiring visa sponsorship (we are not registered IND sponsors).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Knowledge of designing for EMC compliance.
• Experience working with manufacturers and external stakeholders.
