Key Responsibilities and skills:

Design and develop power electronic systems, including AC/DC and DC/DC converters, inverters, Motor drives etc., to meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Conduct simulations and analysis using tools such as PSpice, LTspice, or MATLAB/Simulink to optimize system performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Evaluate and select components, materials, and suppliers for power electronics applications, considering factors such as cost, performance, and availability.

Hands-on experience with hardware prototyping, digital control, testing, and troubleshooting of power electronic systems.

Strong understanding of power semiconductor devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, GaN HEMTs etc.) and their characteristics.

Good understanding of magnetics design (inductor, transformer etc.) for power electronics application.

Knowledge of thermal management techniques and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) considerations in power electronics design.Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations throughout the design process.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Academic Background:
Masters in electrical engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
