Title: DRAM Firmware/Integration Engineer

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Pay: $49/hr (W2, contract, 6 months with possible extension)

Join an innovative team designing the firmware that powers next-generation SSDs! We’re seeking a DRAM Firmware/Integration Engineer to develop, validate, and integrate DRAM drivers for platforms using DDR4 and DDR5 technology.

In this role, you will:

• Develop, validate, and integrate DRAM driver firmware for SSD platforms
• Configure DDR4/DDR5 mode registers and validate DRAM operations
• Build expertise in DRAM PHY IP and ECC functionality
• Develop/debug DRAM initialization, training techniques, and refresh policies
• Use lab tools (oscilloscopes, soldering, power supplies) for hands-on validation
• Create test procedures for DRAM debugging
• Collaborate closely with internal and external engineering teams
• Lead root-cause analysis and documentation efforts

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or similar)
• 3+ years DRAM (DDR4/DDR5) experience (development, integration, testing)
• Hands-on with DRAM ECC and PHY IP
• Proficient with memory testing software & hardware debug tools
• Strong documentation, teamwork, and communication skills
