We are building Europe's first low-cost autonomous kinetic counter-drone interceptor. The core engineering challenge: detect a fast-moving aerial target with a thermal camera, compute a collision trajectory, and close the guidance loop in under 100 ms — all on an embedded platform weighing under 3.5 kg.
What you will work on
-
Thermal camera target detection and tracking pipeline
-
Real-time trajectory planning and guidance law implementation
-
Flight controller integration and hardware bring-up
-
Hardware-in-the-loop simulation and validation
What we are looking for
-
Background in embedded systems, robotics, or autonomous vehicles
-
Hands-on experience with computer vision or sensor fusion
-
Comfortable working at the hardware/software boundary
-
Formula Student driverless or UAV project experience is a strong plus
