Application Specific Integrated Circuit Verification Engineer

Pluspoint is working together with AFRY on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join a new ASIC verification team in Malmö, Sweden.

This full time, permanent position is connected to advanced hardware development for one of the world’s leading telecommunications companies and offers a rare combination of deep technical work and the opportunity to help shape a growing verification team.

We are looking for someone who is not only strong technically, but also ready to take responsibility, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and contribute to building a high-performing ASIC verification setup in Sweden.

Your responsibilities will include ::

• ASIC and SoC verification using SystemVerilog and UVM

• Developing testbenches, tests, sequences, drivers, monitors, scoreboards, and verification components

• Building and maintaining Verification IPs

• Integrating third-party VIPs into verification environments

• Implementing SystemVerilog Assertions

• Working with functional coverage, code coverage, coverage analysis, and closure

• Supporting verification flows, regression environments, and best practices

• Acting as a technical contributor in a multi-company engineering setup

• Supporting future team growth, technical interviews, and onboarding as the team expands

We are looking for someone with:

• At least 5 years of experience in ASIC or SoC verification

• Strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM

• Experience in developing verification environments from scratch

• Solid knowledge of coverage-driven verification

• Experience with assertions, VIP development, and verification methodology

• Good understanding of digital design

• Experience working in Linux-based engineering environments

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams, companies, and cultures

Experience in the fields of telecom, networking, high-speed interfaces, regression flows or CI environments is desirable. Experience of working in large R&D organizations, team leadership and mentoring other engineers is a plus.
