Job Title: ASIC Validation Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)

Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Role

We are seeking experienced ASIC Validation Engineers to join our team, with openings ranging from Senior Engineer to Principal Engineer levels. This role focuses on post-silicon validation and bring-up of next-generation networking ASICs and chiplet-based SoCs, ensuring robust performance and successful product readiness.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with high-speed interfaces, networking silicon, lab validation, and automation in complex silicon environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead post-silicon bring-up and validation activities for networking ASICs and SoCs.
  • Develop and execute validation plans for high-speed interfaces and networking subsystems.
  • Build automation and test infrastructure using Python.
  • Perform silicon bring-up activities including link initialization and system validation.
  • Debug issues across hardware, firmware, and system interactions.
  • Characterize performance, reliability, and behavior under various operating conditions.
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and test teams to ensure product quality and readiness.
  • Support validation platform development and continuous process improvement.


Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with post-silicon ASIC/SoC validation and bring-up .
  • Hands-on experience validating high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and SerDes .
  • Experience working with networking ASICs or SoCs , including Ethernet or data center silicon.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for validation automation and data analysis.
  • Extensive lab debugging experience using oscilloscopes, JTAG, logic analyzers, and BERTs .
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with UCIe and chiplet-based architectures.
  • Knowledge of UCIe protocol validation and multi-die integration.
  • Experience with FPGA or emulation platforms.
  • Familiarity with signal integrity analysis.
  • Exposure to hardware/software co-validation methodologies.
