Embedded Software Engineer
Per il team di ingegneria elettronica, specializzato nella progettazione di sistemi embedded dedicati, ricerchiamo una risorsa con grande passione per il mondo IoT e lโelettronica embedded basata su Microcontrollori, interfaccia Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
Il profilo ideale รจ un/a programmatore/trice affidabile e capace di analizzare i problemi tecnici complessi e risolverli in modo sistematico.
Sarร parte di un team multidisciplinare, impiegato nello sviluppo e nel miglioramento di servizi e soluzioni digital and IoT.
Avrร una visione globale che va dal back end al front end , integrazioni con gli altri sistemi e servizi, portando il design architettonico a soluzioni efficaci ed efficienti.
Responsabilitร :
- Sviluppo di interfacce dโ interazione uomo basate su tecnologie web-oriented
- Sviluppo di interfaccia web, server-side modules and API integration , consentendo ai clienti un soddisfacente utilizzo dei servizi e dispositivi
- Identificazione ed implementazione delle migliori soluzioni architettoniche che consentano la miglior user experience e la salvaguardia dellโeccellenza delle soluzioni;
- Collaborazione stretta con il team e le altre funzioni aziendali allo scopo di assicurare un coerente sviluppo di tutti i moduli e gli elementi architettonici (dal back end al front end)
- Analisi e valutazione delle possibili implementazioni e soluzioni
Requisiti
- Ottima conoscenza di linguaggi di programmazione C e C++
- Esperienza con FreeRTOS o altri sistemi operativi real-time
- Familiaritร del codice tramite Git/GitHub
- Capacitร di utilizzo di strumentazione da laboratorio (es. oscilloscopio)
- Capacitร di analizzare schemi elettronici per identificare eventuali criticitร o difetti di progettazione
Requisiti preferenziali:
- Conoscenza dei protocolli di comunicazione industriale, in particolare: CANbus, Modbus, MQTT, IO-Link
- Esperienza con microcontrollori STM32 - ESP32
- Competenze su tecnologie Bluetooth e WiFi
Requisiti professionali:
- Laurea in Informatica o Ingegneria
- Esperienza di almeno 3 anni
- Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese

What we're looking for
At embedd.it, we power hardware-software integration in embedded devices. We turn fragmented semiconductor chip data into configurable digital twins, then deterministically generate code, tests, and documentation โ making integration faster, cheaper, and resilient to supply chain shocks.
Weโre looking for a true legend โ someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. Youโll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. Itโs your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
