We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Software Engineer to join our team and actively contribute to the development of our shipment-ready robotic software, control systems, and user interfaces. We’re a young and dynamic team, and your role will be broad and impactful, from developing robust control algorithms and intuitive UIs to testing software on real hardware.
You’ll work side by side with the founding team to shape our technology, company, and culture. At RoBoa, you’ll grow with the company and take on real responsibility from day one. As an ideal candidate, you will be highly motivated, eager to work on a challenging deep-tech topic with real-world impact, capable of working autonomously and in small teams, and have a strong desire to build and ship robust, high-quality robotics software.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy production-ready robotics software for our advanced systems.
- Develop robust software for robot control, state estimation, perception, and motion planning.
- Create intuitive and reliable user interfaces (UI) for robot operation and data visualization.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in C++ and Python using ROS.
- Integrate and test software on physical robots and in simulation.

Collaborate with hardware and field engineers to debug and refine system performance.
- Strong motivation and goal-oriented working attitude.
- Comfortable working independently and in small teams, and willing to take responsibility.
- Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with hands-on experience in a Linux environment.
- Solid experience with ROS2 (or ROS) from curricular or extracurricular projects.
- Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g., version control with Git, testing, CI/CD).

Fluent English speaker.
- Experience deploying software on real robotic hardware.
- Knowledge of control theory, navigation, or computer vision.
- Experience with UI/UX development (e.g., Qt, web technologies).

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

What we're looking for
At embedd.it, we power hardware-software integration in embedded devices. We turn fragmented semiconductor chip data into configurable digital twins, then deterministically generate code, tests, and documentation – making integration faster, cheaper, and resilient to supply chain shocks.
We’re looking for a true legend – someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. You’ll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. It’s your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
