Your mission:

• You develop and improve algorithms for 3D multi-object tracking including: motion models, sensor measurement models, assignment of detection
• You evaluate and select tracking algorithms which are able to track several UAVs
• You realize a modular and extensible sensor data fusion framework
• You integrate hardware components
• You liaise with the computer vision and acoustics experts in the team (because you use their detections for your tracking)
• You keep track of the current scientific publications in the field of multi object tracking
• You ensure a consistently very high quality of the overall detection and tracking pipeline

Your profile:

• University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Physics or a similar field
• Several years of relevant work experience with C++
• Previous experience with frameworks as Eigen, Ceres, GTSAM
• Experience with Rust is a plus
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 and OpenCV is also highly valued
