The ICT department at Fluxys plays a central role in the efficient operation and development of gas infrastructure. It ensures the maintenance and evolution of technological systems, ranging from networks and databases to cloud applications and customized software solutions. Among its strategic missions, the real-time SCADA system holds an essential place, guaranteeing optimal control of the high-pressure gas transmission network.

For our Realtime department at our office in Anderlecht, we are looking for a Real-Time SCADA System Engineer (m/f/x).

As a Real-Time SCADA System Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and development of Fluxys’ SCADA system. Your primary focus will be on optimizing system performance, providing technical support, and enhancing cybersecurity measures. By working closely with different stakeholders, you will contribute to the system’s continuous evolution, making it more efficient and resilient to emerging challenges in the energy sector.

• Manage and maintain the SCADA system by performing operational and lifecycle tasks throughout its evolution
• Provide support to SCADA users by responding to their requests and assisting with required modifications
• Supervise and resolve incidents and problems related to the SCADA system
• Manage and follow up on interactions with the SCADA vendor for complex requests and issues
• Participate in strategic projects related to operational technology within SCADA
• Ensure the cybersecurity of the SCADA system and protect it against evolving cyber threats
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the system and propose innovative solutions

Required Skills

• You have experience with SCADA systems (5 years)
• You have experience with Linux systems (3-5 years)
• You are familiar with supporting Windows, Linux, SQL, Oracle (monitoring, configuration, ..)
• You have some experience with communication analysis (Wireshark, Modbus, …)
• General knowledge of typical IT hardware and software architectural elements including clients, servers, storage, networks, and databases
• You understand ICT Security concepts, network zoning,…
• You understand and can apply project management principles
• Knowledge of Risk analysis and its application in ICSGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office and typical enterprise applications
• You are proficient in French and/or Dutch with an excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken)

Preferred Technical Skills

• You have experience with RTU/PLC and their communication (Modbus, CIP,…)
• You have experience with OPC communication (Kepware, RSlinx,…)
• You have some experience with scripting (Powershell, batch, ksh…)
• You have experience with Rockwell RTUs communication
• You have experience with historian system, with ICCP or Tase2,..
