We are hiring for a
Quantum Measurement Engineer
. This position offers an opportunity to have a meaningful influence onโฏa revolutionaryโฏtechnology. The research effort includes a diverseโฏstaff of theoreticalโฏand experimental physicists, hardware designers and software engineers around the world. We are seeking an experimental condensed matter physicist, applied physicist, materials scientist, or electrical engineer with a background in qubit measurements to participate in the research and development of our qubits.

Uses suggested measurement techniques to advance quantum practices and device

Contributes to development and improvement of methods of measuring devices to gauge device characteristics and properties

Collaborates across teams for efficient use of company expertise, including hardware, software, and algorithms.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field.

OR Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years experience in industry or in a research and development environment

OR equivalent experience.

2+ yearsโ experience with experimenting with low-dimensional semiconductors, superconductivity, or quantum information processing devices.

2+ yearsโ experience with data acquisitionโฏand programming in a high-level language (e.g. python, matlab).

2+ yearsโ experience with radio-frequency (RF) reflectometry or circuit quantum electrodynamics (cQED) measurements or pulsed measurements.

Quantum Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
