We are looking for a Robotics Maintenance Engineer to join the Electronics Plant team, reporting directly to the Plant Maintenance Manager.

This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlán, Estado de México.

As the Robotics Maintenance Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of robotic systems within Marelli's operations. This position involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and electronic repairs, aimed at minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency of our robotics and automation processes.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on robotic systems to ensure their efficient operation.

• Diagnose electronic malfunctions and systematically repair robotic equipment to minimize production interruptions.

• Interpret technical diagrams and schematics related to robotics and automated systems for accurate troubleshooting and repairs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance, to ensure robotics systems are aligned with manufacturing requirements.

• Implement and document electronic maintenance procedures and manage maintenance records.

• Assist in the installation and testing of new robotic systems and equipment upgrades.

• Stay updated on technological advancements in robotics, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Comply with safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in maintenance of robotics systems, particularly focusing on electronics.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex electronic schematics and technical manuals.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for electronic troubleshooting.

Certification in robotics or automation (e.g., FANUC, ABB, or equivalent).

• Experience in a manufacturing or automotive industry setting.

• Familiarity with PLC programming and integration.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying process improvements.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
