IF YOU ARE
- An expert in C/C++ and Python programming, with 8+ years of experience in software development for robotics and real-time systems
- Proficient with Mobile Robots, Drones, AGVs, AVs, AMRs, and experienced in using ROS/ROS2 & RViz for scalable robotic applications
- Experienced with simulation and rendering tools including Gazebo, Nvidia Isaac Sim, Bullet, and Blender for HIL/SIL testing and prototyping
- Knowledgeable in Robotics Perception, SLAM, Trajectory Planning, Kinematics, and Obstacle
- Avoidance with the ability to lead and review implementation
- Experienced in GPU and CUDA acceleration using PCL and OpenCV libraries for high-performance perception and point cloud processing pipelines
- Capable of leading the end-to-end development of complex robotics systems and ensuring high-quality architectural and engineering outcomes
- Experienced in the evaluation and integration of robotics sensors and actuators, with a solid understanding of control systems
- Competent in Unix/Linux environments with strong scripting and automation capabilities for development and deployment workflows
- Proficient in HW/SW architecture design, including modularity, data flow, system latency, and real-time constraints
- Deeply familiar with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based deployments, and continuous monitoring in robotics systems
- A proven mentor and team lead, skilled in cross-functional collaboration, guiding engineers, and managing delivery pipelines

A strong communicator with experience conducting client workshops, architecture reviews, and technical presentations in English (Upper-intermediate level)
- Design and lead the development of robotic systems across multiple domains (ground, aerial, underwater) with production-level architecture
- Build and manage rapid prototyping cycles that evolve into robust, production-ready solutions
- Test robotics systems both in simulation (Gazebo, Isaac Sim) and in real-world environments using HIL/SIL techniques
- Architect and implement cloud-robot integration layers using modern IoT platforms and secure communication protocols
- Develop and deploy automated robotic solutions that increase precision, safety, and efficiency in industrial or service settings

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

What we're looking for
At embedd.it, we power hardware-software integration in embedded devices. We turn fragmented semiconductor chip data into configurable digital twins, then deterministically generate code, tests, and documentation – making integration faster, cheaper, and resilient to supply chain shocks.
We’re looking for a true legend – someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. You’ll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. It’s your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
