Job Description:
Client Graphics organization is seeking a firmware developer to join our GuC (Graphics micro (ฮผ) Controller) Team. This position requires experience in FW code development, validation and Unit Testing to provide a high-quality code deliverable. Youโll be immediately plugged into the team with a senior team member identified to help in your ramp, and given appropriate levels of ownership over FW feature design and implementation to match and continue to grow your skills.
You will be expected to work on the tasks across all aspects of the software development process (design, verification, CI/CD, interface definition, etc.). You will leverage a modern development culture and processes using modern development practices.

You Will Be Responsible For, But Not Limited To
- Contribute to the GuC firmware design documents.
- Own and ensure quality delivery of the GuC runtime firmware.
- Own debug of GuC Firmware features with main focus on the Scheduler domain.
- Contribute to validation and unit test framework development.

Contribute to the culture of quality deliverables by designing and developing validation test cases.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in a related field and 5+ years of Firmware development experience
OR Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in a related field and 3+ years of Firmware development experience
2+ years of experience in/with:
- Firmware / Software debug methodologies.
- Modern software engineering practices in product delivery situations.

Modern unit tests and development frameworks.
6+ months of experience in any of the skills below will be considered preferred:
- Developing and optimizing GPU firmware and software.
- GPU architectures and how they influence software design and performance.

Hands-on experience with AI-powered code generation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for accelerating software development and enhancing code quality.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$139,540.00-$197,000.00

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Weโre looking for a true legend โ someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. Youโll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. Itโs your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
