- 3 to 5 years of experience in developing embedded firmware in C or C++ including standard libraries and multithreading programming with RTOS like ThreadX / FreeRTOS / Linux etc.
- Excellent programming skills in embedded C, knowledge of data structure, code optimization and logical analysis.
- Hands-on experience in lab tools like Oscilloscope, Signal/Logic analyzer, power meter, multimeter etc.
- Development of embedded firmware targeting device connectivity with peripheral devices, cloud and mobile application using protocols WiFi, BLE, ZigBee, proprietry RF protocols etc.
- Work on all aspects complex embedded software development projects – design, development, review, and test. You will have clear accountability to drive innovation utilizing new technologies in hardware, software, and emerging wireless communication protocols.
- Provide technical coordination with project planning and execution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, test, quality) to produce architecturally sound designs, contribute to hardware selection, design test plans, and coordinate delivery of software modules, applications, and documentation. Cultivate 3rd party vendor relationships as needed.
- Collaborate with partners in Marketing and other stakeholders to gather and break down non-technical and technical requirements into well-defined tasks.
- Evaluate new technologies as they apply to existing functions. Offer peer technical assessments in areas of expertise, new technologies, software designs and assist as needed with component datasheet/schematic design review.
- Explore tools and techniques and contribute to efforts that benefit firmware design, development, testing and management.
- Follow details during all phases of SW design, development, integration, testing and release

We’re looking for a true legend – someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. You’ll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. It’s your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
