About This Vacancy
We are looking for a highly skilled FPGA Verification Engineer with expertise in Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) to join our advanced semiconductor development team in Eindhoven. In this role, you will focus on verifying complex FPGA designs, ensuring they meet rigorous performance, functionality, and reliability standards. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and robustness of our FPGA-based solutions.
As An FPGA Verification Engineer, You Will
- Develop and implement UVM-based verification environments to validate FPGA designs.
- Define verification strategies, plans, and test scenarios based on design specifications.
- Create, simulate, and debug testbenches to verify design functionality and performance.
- Perform functional, code coverage, and assertion-based verification to ensure robust designs.
- Identify, debug, and resolve design issues through simulation and detailed analysis.
- Collaborate closely with FPGA designers to understand design intent and resolve verification bottlenecks.
- Document verification methodologies, results, and lessons learned to support future projects.

Stay informed about advancements in UVM, FPGA verification techniques, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in FPGA verification with a strong focus on UVM-based methodologies.
- Proven experience in developing and debugging complex UVM testbenches for FPGA verification.
- Familiarity with major FPGA vendor tools and simulators (e.g., ModelSim, Questa, Vivado, or Quartus).
- Strong understanding of System Verilog and system-level verification techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, or TCL) for test automation.
- Understanding of VHDL is nice to have.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging complex systems.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

What we're looking for
At embedd.it, we power hardware-software integration in embedded devices. We turn fragmented semiconductor chip data into configurable digital twins, then deterministically generate code, tests, and documentation – making integration faster, cheaper, and resilient to supply chain shocks.
We’re looking for a true legend – someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. You’ll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. It’s your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
