Stiamo cercando una/uno Lead Embedded Software Engineer per guidare la definizione e l’implementazione di nuove piattaforme TCU. Il ruolo prevede la progettazione di soluzioni embedded scalabili e di alta qualità, la definizione dei requisiti, il monitoraggio dello sviluppo delle funzionalità e il supporto al team di ingegneri durante l’intero ciclo di vita dei programmi software automotive.

Responsabilità
- Analizzare, definire, pianificare e rilasciare applicazioni software embedded con focus sui requisiti dei componenti.
- Scrivere requisiti, condurre revisioni del codice e fornire supporto ai test.
- Agire come Feature Lead: stabilire le priorità delle funzionalità critiche e fornire supporto tecnico agli sviluppatori.
- Garantire la corretta implementazione delle piattaforme di connettività (on-board e off-board).
- Lavorare con stack software nativi C/C++, framework applicativi (es. Macchina) e sandboxing.
- Applicare le pratiche SAFe Agile per la definizione e la consegna dei requisiti.
- Supportare l’integrazione tra diverse architetture veicolo.
- Definire e revisionare API, segnali e interfacce orientate ai servizi.
- Contribuire alla configurazione, scripting e sviluppo applicativo.
- Supportare lo sviluppo e l’esecuzione di test case e test plan, garantendo la conformità alle pratiche di protezione dei dati.
- Collaborare efficacemente con team interdisciplinari, facendo da mentore e guida agli sviluppatori.
Requisiti
- Laurea in Informatica, Ingegneria del Software o discipline affini.
- 5–12 anni di esperienza nello sviluppo di software embedded.
- Solida conoscenza delle tecnologie di connettività: 4G/5G Modem, C-V2X, Ultra Wide Band, NFC, CAN, Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, TLS/DTLS.
- Esperienza con protocolli di comunicazione: MQTT, OMA-DM, LWM2M.
- Conoscenza di hardware e piattaforme: NAD, Application Processor, SoC, HSM, SEE.
- Esperienza nel settore della connettività, cockpit o sviluppo di soluzioni cloud (automotive o consumer).
- Solida conoscenza di Linux e AUTOSAR (classic e adaptive).
- Esperienza pratica nella definizione dei requisiti, pianificazione dei test e integrazione di sistema.
- Ottime capacità comunicative, di problem solving e di leadership.

What we're looking for
At embedd.it, we power hardware-software integration in embedded devices. We turn fragmented semiconductor chip data into configurable digital twins, then deterministically generate code, tests, and documentation – making integration faster, cheaper, and resilient to supply chain shocks.
We’re looking for a true legend – someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. You’ll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. It’s your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
