Weโre looking for a passionate and skilled
Embedded Software Engineer
to join our team working on cutting-edge space systems. If you thrive in a high-tech, international environment and love solving complex challenges, weโd love to hear from you!
Your Background
-
Masterโs degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
-
Hands-on industry experience in C/C++ embedded software development on ARM or RISC-V architectures (bare-metal and Linux-based).

Familiarity with implementing and optimizing complex numerical algorithms such as those used in navigation systems, cryptography or digital signal processing.

Solid understanding of electronics (RF, digital, analog) and ability to read digital circuit schematics.
Technical Skills
-
Hands-on experience with hardware-level software: timers, interrupts, I2C/SPI, analog front ends, bootloaders, and debug tools.

Knowledge of high-reliability software practices: defensive programming, continuous testing, static code analysis (MISRA).

Experience in digital electronic design and hardware debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).

Interest or experience in secure and safety-critical software development for space environments (e.g. Galileo projects).

After Onboarding, Your Responsibilities Will Include

Contributing to software requirements and test strategy.

Delivering reliable embedded software for Antwerp Space hardware.

Supporting product development from prototypes to flight.

Owning your software components, including testing and documentation.
