Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Antenna/RF Engineer to join our team for an advanced RF Direction Finding (RFDF) project. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying RFDF systems used for signal intelligence, surveillance, and communication tracking applications
Responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility for antenna design, prototyping and testing. Working with Technology/Technical Manager and other members of Filpal’s engineering team to explore antenna performance and design trade-offs.
- Incorporation of design for manufacturing principles into antenna design.
- Responsible for simulation, parameter tuning, optimisation and modelling.
- Responsible for field testing, troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.
- Contribute to process improvement as required.
- Technical documentation and report writing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in RF systems or direction-finding technologies.
- Experience with RF tools: spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators.
- Familiarity with software like CST, HFSS and KICAD/Altium for RF simulation and PCB design.
Optional but Valuable:
- Knowledge of direction-finding techniques such as AoA, TDOA, interferometry.
- Experience with embedded systems or FPGA-based signal processing.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, antennas, and propagation.
- Proficiency in RF design, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Senior Embedded Software Engineer

You’ll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
